Cardiac Arrest – Radiation Therapy Bunker
This video was designed to prepare Medical Radiation Therapists to provide Basic Life Support and apply an Automatic External Defibrillator to a patient in the radiation therapy bunker in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Learning Objectives:-
- Management of a cardiac arrest by medical radiation therapists & registered nurses prior to arrival of Code Blue Team
- Placement of board between patient and treatment couch prior to using AED.
- Donning and doffing PPE- Minimizing people in treatment room.
