Patient requiring C-section

This case was designed to assess and improve team preparedness for safely and effectively caring for a suspected COVID-19 patient who requires transfer to the Operating Room for a Caesarean Section.

  1. Manage cardiac arrest in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic
  2. Prioritize health care provider protection
  3. Minimize aerosolization within resources of the unit & healthcare organization
